Painters Studio

Set within the garden of a family home, the new Painter’s Studio provides a quiet retreat for creative work. Conceived as a simple timber structure, the studio is carefully positioned to capture natural light and frame views back toward the house and surrounding garden.

The building is constructed entirely in timber, with a restrained material palette chosen to weather gracefully and sit comfortably within its garden setting. Large glazed openings bring in daylight daylight, creating ideal conditions for painting while allowing the space to open fully to the outdoors in warmer months.

Internally, the pavilion is arranged as a single flexible workspace with integrated storage and a compact utility area, supporting both focused creative practice and informal family use.
